The Verandah Room, which has private access to the upstairs verandah,
has views over the front garden and in winter over the snow-covered
alps.
This sunny and spacious room is decorated in rich gold and navy
blue and features a superb mottled kauri dressing table, rimu chairs
from the old Dunedin courthouse and a stunning chest of drawers
made of kohekohe, a New Zealand native tree.
